Dear Miz Foutchie:

I have read your recent reviews and have been impressed with your take on matters. Especially when books deal with cats as a main character. So I am contacting you about a wonderful book, Invasion of Falgannon Isle. It’s my story. Well, of course, there are people in it, so they will think the story is about them. My people are B.A. Montgomerie and Desmond Mershan. B.A. is bright, smart and loving, but she tended to hide from the world on my… her remote island. However, the coming of Desmond Mershan changes everything.

You see, Falgannon Isle was under an ancient curse, decreeing unless my B.A. married a man, not of the isle, had Irish blood in him, was black-haired and green eyed, the women of the isle only bore girl bairns and the men would never know true and lasting love.

We have a lot of wonderful Scottish humour, but it details my tribulations at seeing Desmond and B.A. through the painful time of falling in love. I don’t see why humans have to make such a muddle of this business of falling in love. I looked at B.A. and Desmond and fell for them instantly. Oh, why couldn’t they do the same?

Anyway, I am hoping you will consider reviewing my story. Being a Moggie of fine taste, I’m sure you would appreciate my hardship through all this and enjoy the fine romantic saga.

If you find my story pleasing, I would appreciate a review.

Dear Lord Dudley,

These days I am SO busy. So many things to do, monsters to kill. I am currently watching Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Rings. I think this is the best of the three, but still love the battle of Helm’s Deep. Perchance you are a Rings fan too? Maybe we share this love?

Currently, we have an extremely long waiting list of books to be reviewed. Fortunately, there is one about the Fam Kitties in the stack. They are my fav books. I want to be a Fam Kitty.

What was I saying? Sorry, was distracted by Elrond of Rivendale…anyway, we are SO BUSY these days, but your story Invasion of Falgannon Isle sounds intriguing.

So, yes, please send your story. I promise to get to it asap. Another of those people labels.

(Watching Rings again…Bilbo is a PITA!)

Dear Lady Foutchie:

Why yes, I am a Rings fan, though I must disagree on which of the three films is best. I like the Battle of Pelanor Fields, rather than Helm’s Deep. Though I did feel that Orlando Bloom wasn’t given enough lines in the film. I personally like “people” movies, not just action flicks.

I greatly appreciate your offer to read my story, Invasion of Falgannon Isle. It has a bit of everything that should please humans.
